Community Supported Agriculture
Subscribe for seasonal, locally grown produce and support Glade Run’s unique animal and horticultural programs for children with special needs. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system where subscribers purchase “shares” of a local farmer’s seasonal foods. Each week, our residents help produce, pack and deliver crates full of fruits and vegetables at drop-off spots such as churches throughout our community.
Imagine fresh, pesticide-free fruits and vegetables weekly throughout the summer and fall, all for about the price of taking a family out for fast food. We believe this is a wonderful opportunity to provide the community with a wholesome food option and to provide invaluable life skills for those who desperately need it. This assisted employment program gives our residents the experience and confidence to start their young adult lives on the right foot.
